Vegan love

Hey lovies. Been a minute eh? Well that's all due to the fact that work has been crazy and also girl ain't got no photographer, so most of my updates are when I get the chance to hangout with my bestie then her daughter is DP (designated photographer) ;) 

So this weekend we had some time off so we hung out. A good ole Jamaican soundclash. Yes chile. Haven't been to one of those in god knows how long. We were a tad bit over dressed but who ares right? As long as face is beat, clothes on point it's all good.

Hey lovies. So it's the first week of the new year and I have made a huge change. So after wearing my hair natural for the last 2 1/2 yrs I decided I needed a change and went and got a relaxer. My hairstylist hooked me up! Yes she did. But do you know that moment whe what you believe is and what actually is don't align exactly? I had one of those moments. My hair is terribly damaged and extremely dry. However, she gave me a trimmy trim and a treatment and my New Years resolution ( if there ever was one) is to take care of my hair. I went out and purchased a few things and fingers crossed they work.

The holidays.

Hello darlings. It has been a while. Yes it has. The summer ended and I started working like crazy . Hence, no new blogs; (not that I blog often) which I should. (Sidebar:working on it;) ). Anyway. The holidays were great. Didn't do a lot but I spent Christmas Day with my best friend and her family. We had so much fun cooking and then devouring. All in all it was a wonderful day with wonderful people. The downer is; no pictures. 

I also got to go, to one event. The west palm beach sports and social club end of year party. It's a more mature crowd but my girl and I hit it up an had some good ole fun!

Ok, so the maxi dress has become one of my favorite daytime looks. Its really relaxed and contemporary. Dress it up or down and step out instyle. Most of my outfits are from department stores like marshalls and tjmaxx. Yes honey, I love me a bargain. But then again. Who doesn't?  Besides u can find same brands as in the big name stores; discounted. Like my steve madden purse for $39.99 at tjmaxx or this beautiful maxi for $29.99 also from tjmaxx. It does not have to cost a fortune, but With the right accessories and some key pieces you can make any outfit worthy of being envied. Happy reading. Till next time.  xo

The transition

I have been transitioning now for a little over a year and I must say its been quite a journey. I have gone through a bevy of products and im now at a point where I have developed a regimen and also managed to find products that give me great results. Still have a little perm on my ends in the front; because I was wearing weaves in the beginning and perming my leave-outs. The hair is otherwise healthy with minimal breakage. To style it I do a flat twist with coconut hair grease and organic root stimulator curls unleashed, undo it when its dry and lightly dab with castor oil. I have a color in so keeping it moisturized is very important.

This is my very first blog. Not really sure of what I'm doing but I hope its a good post. So shoes are my passion. I absolutely love them; among other things so you can imagine that I have a closet full of them. ( well actually they have begun to spill out of my closet and into my tiny apartment).
